Steps for Better Mental Well Being
October 1st - 7th is Mental Health Awareness month. This is a time where we can pause and focus our attention on our own mental health and the mental wholeness of our neighbors and co-workers. Providing a space for conversation and reflection can be a vital part of our understanding of mental wholeness in our nation.
On Sunday, October 1 at 7pm, Grace Lutheran Church will be offering a presentation entitled, “Steps for Better Mental Well Being.” With winter fast approaching and issues like Seasonal Affective Disorder and the feelings of confinement we get from being indoors, it can be helpful for us to broaden our tool box for dealing with our mental wholeness. This presentation will help us to examine our lives to strengthen our commitment to ourselves and our health.
Katrina Brown, LCP, will be leading the discussion and a time of questions and answers. This is a free presentation and everyone is welcome to join us for the conversation.
